WatchFactory Shipping Policies:

We ship most orders within one business day, by UPS ground or U.S. Post Office Priority Mail (our option).  If you select 'Expedited' shipping when you place your order, shipment will be via USPS Priority Mail or UPS 2nd Day Air, at our option*. If you select 'Standard' shipping during high peak periods, we may require an extra day to ship your order.  In the rare event we can't ship within the time-frames listed above, we will contact you by e-mail--for further instructions.
 
All orders are shipped from New Jersey. Standard shipping takes 1 to 6 business days, depending on your distance from NJ. UPS has a web page, providing approx. transit times:

The above 'Standard' times are not guaranteed. If we upgrade 'Standard' delivery to Priority Mail, your time in transit may be reduced--without extra cost. 

*Our Expedited shipping option is by Priority Mail or UPS. The Post Office considers Saturdays as business days. While we can not ship on Saturdays, you may receive a parcel on Saturday, or have the Saturday counted as a business day in transit.  If you live within the 1-2 day UPS Ground zones (from Northern New Jersey) please do not pay extra for "Expedited" delivery.  This region covers the tip of Maine, south to 1/2 way through Georgia. It includes all of IN, KY & SC, plus 90% of MI and 1/2 of IL.  You may refer to the chart at: http://www.ups.com/maps?loc=en_US

'Expedited' orders for delivery within the 1-2 day ground zones may be shipped by UPS Ground (our option).  Our service guarantee for 'Expedited' service is that you will receive your order not more than 3 business days after we receive it (1:30 pm Eastern cut-off time).  If we miss this deadline, you can request a refund of all shipping charges.
 
Either carrier - UPS or USPS will require a signature to receive the parcel. If you expect to be away or have another reason why no signature is possible, please call us IN ADVANCE of placing your order (800)-755-6787 Mon - Fri 9-5, Eastern.   We can flag orders under $500.00 to arrive without a signature required, at your request and risk.
 
Orders shipped to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO (military) addresses are shipped by USPS. Depending on the location, extra time may be required for delivery.  APO's and FPO's (military) can take 6 weeks or more and tracking info is not available.  This is quite out of our control. While APO insurance is still offered, the process for an APO loss-claim can take another 6-8 weeks to finalize.  The Watchfactory.com web page offers free shipping to all APO and FPO addresses during war time.  We can not offer this service through the Amazon.com interphase you are now using.
